German cockroach
German cockroaches or roaches, are insects with an incomplete metamorphosis cycle (egg, nymph, then they molt 8 to 10 times before becoming adults).
They are mainly active at night and live in warm, humid, and dark areas (garbage chutes, drains, electric meters, bathrooms, etc.). Their diet is omnivorous (garbage, plant and animal food).
The German cockroach is the most common species of cockroach in Europe, representing 90% of infestations.
