Cristina's Testimonial, Chevron in Portugal

The Chevrons Club is an institution at Elis. It is our oldest rewards program for our employees. Established in 1987, it was created to recognize the hard work of the most deserving production and maintenance operators in our plants. Each year, more than 200 Chevrons come together for a weekend filled with discoveries and networking.

Interview with Cristina, Vila Nova de Famalicão plant in Portugal.

Cristina has been working at Elis since the plant opened in 1998. She has held various positions and is currently in the workwear shipping department. She was named a Chevron for the first time this year, congratulations to her!

For me, this program signifies recognition of our commitment to the company and our work. It's a real reward for all these years spent in the plant. I feel extremely honored and grateful for this nomination.

In your opinion, what are the values one must embody to become a Chevron?I believe the core values to become a Chevron are teamwork, respect for the Group's values as well as our colleagues and the management team. It also requires punctuality, diligence, and dedication in daily tasks.

What advice would you give to one of your colleagues who aspires to become a Chevron?Do your best, apply yourself, never give up... be patient, persevere... always carry out your work with enthusiasm. The proof is, I became a Chevron after 25 years with the Group.

What do you think about the trip?
It's the icing on the cake. In addition to having the title of Chevron, we are rewarded with a trip during which we can meet colleagues from other plants and other countries. We are also accompanied by members of the management committee. This helps us realize the importance of the program even more. We all return full of energy for the next year.
