This pest represents a risk to your establishment’s hygiene and image.

Elis’s teams are trained to deal with this pest. In case of infestation, we carry out diagnostic testing in order to perform a targeted treatment. We eradicate the entire population by spraying with insecticide suitable for flea resistance.

  • > Size: 1 to 4mm; colour: dark or reddish brown; lifespan: 6 to 12 months
  • > Contaminated areas: fur, feathers, bedlinen, carpets
  • > Way of life: live in warm, humid areas
  • > Problems: contamination of flooring  affect the company’s image; bites cause itching, loss of sleep and allergies
  • > Reproduction: Up to 400 eggs during lifespan 4 to 8 eggs laid after each meal
