When luxury fashion meets Elis workwear

For the first time, Elis has partnered with Swedish luxury fashion brand Hodakova.
Created from Elis workwear and textiles, the new collection was showcased on Friday, 30 September at Paris Fashion Week.

The Hodakova x Elis collaboration shares one goal: to be responsible businesses

The story between Elis and Hodakova began in May 2021 with a shipment of used textiles from our plant in Vaggeryd, Sweden. Our hand towels were transformed into tops and trousers turned into bags. And so, the adventure began!

At Elis, our goal is to find solutions to give a second life to our products, as textiles are a key issue when it comes to protecting the environment. Designer Ellen Hodakova Larsson shares this goal. Within her collections, she questions the sustainability of fashion and the transition from low-value textiles to products sought after in the luxury industry.

“This collaboration between the two companies shows how it is possible to assume joint responsibility”, says the CEO and Creative Director of Hodakova.

Together, we are looking to build a scalable business model that will revolutionise the traditional fashion industry.

Take two at Fashion Week!

After its resounding success in 2021, the recently established Swedish fashion brand is back at Paris Fashion Week.

This year one of its principal backers was Elis, which provided work trousers, t-shirts, shoes, chef jackets from the hospitality industry… all of which were upcycled into ready-to-wear clothes.

The circular economy is in Elis’s DNA

Elis’ unique positioning on the circular economy allows customers to access lower-impact solutions and more responsible alternatives to buying from new or using disposable solutions.

This circular economy approach makes it possible to maximise the use of products (including ranges that are designed to last, optimised maintenance and product repair), therefore reducing the pressure on resources.
